Guitars as any other produce are always under the weight of fashion. Every year we can find lots of new models of guitars that have better sound characteristics and fashionable design. Commonly, guitars do not have any characteristics which underline the country where they have been created, but not all of them. World-known corporation Ibanez introduced their newest collection in spring 2008 and that one differs from any other a lot.

Every guitar developer has got its own traditions and lots of them like manufacturing models which are similar to their classic shapes and characteristics. For instance, Epiphone, Gibson and Fender perform the same, but not Ibanez. When choosing an instrument surely you will look at its sound features, but another very significant thing is appearance of your future instrument.

When you look at the instruments which were presented as Spring 2008 Special Limited Edition you understand that Ibanez is a Japanese trademark. Keeping to the brand's sound standards, the new RG and SRX series are also the triumph of beauty. Such parts as “Japan black” finish and red fastening make these instruments look truly Japanese. That model can boast off its sakura carving prompts that make the process of playing extremely pleasing and involving for guitarist.

The first thought that appears in mind when you see modern RGR is “That is made in Japan”. That model is also famous as ninja weapon as it includes simple design and surprising sound features which can make any performer a true warrior. This guitar can be compared just with a ninja that is dressed in black but his white neck is naked. It has got nothing extra, nothing that might be superfluous. But it is a killer. Surely, tastes differ but the modern Ninja is quite likely to be the hit of the Ibanez spring assortment. The black and white color gamma of the two guitars mentioned previously is much varied by the color boom of other series, particularly the many-colored GRG micro models; the variegated BTB and neatly tested ICB. The modern Ibanez spring collection are also made to knock your socks off - their fancy-colored vibrant finishes are an excellent match for a freaky-dressed young and old guitar-performer. There's also a horrific cranium pattern with a hard-rock-style Ibanez logotype for unspeakable rockers within the Talman Acoustics series. There is one more part of design which can't be forgotten - the sun around rosette with rays spreading over the guitar sounding board. When you see it, you may announce without doubts that this guitar has Japanese roots.

Famous guitar player Pat Metheny has been playing Ibanez instruments for about 20 years, so the modern spring 2008 collection includes the new PM-35 from Pat. That is nice that everybody may afford to buy such electric guitars. The costs for the production of that class are considered to be intermediate, so it can be used by young guitarists that only start improving their techniques. Pat Metheny noticed that he is very glad that Ibanez trademark made that instrument affordable for everyone who wants it.
