Getting lost in translation is not so great (if you are not Scarlet Johansson). That location can be a far away land, an unknown avenue, or sometimes even your own home when a new lawn or cleaning crew pops up.

What do you do when you notice someone who did not study English at school? You may try using fingers to get a few things across. But countries differ, circumstances differ and thus signs do not always properly translate your views on the issue at hand. If you are good at scanning for words you can get yourself a mini-dictionary for foreign language intensive situations. And yet, a paper linguistic assistant might be not so fast to get by. Or you may go for a more up-to-date and convenient solution. Like acquiring an electronic Language translator.
